Auf dieser Seite findet ihr einige Tipps rund um das “Gitarre spielen”. Ich erfinde hier nicht das Rad neu, sondern versuche einfach ein paar Tipps zum Üben von Spieltechniken wie “Legato, Bendings, Tapping, Speed Picking etc. zu geben. Ich behaupte keineswegs ein außergewöhnlicher Gitarrist zu sein, aber einiges schein ich nach ein paar Jahrzehnten doch gelernt und verinnerlicht zu haben. Diese Erfahrung möchte ich hier gerne mit interessierten Menschen teilen, die vielleicht gerade anfangen Gitarre zu spielen. Vielleicht ist das ein oder andere Thema (oder Tipp) sogar für fortgeschrittene Gitarristen spannend.

Geschwindigkeit und Genauigkeit
Der aller wichtigste Aspekt bei allen Übungen im Bezug auf Spieltechniken auf der Gitarre ist ” Geschwindigkeit und Genauigkeit”. Es ist enorm wichtig, dass du beim üben locker und konzentriert bleibst. Du solltest unbedingt mit einem Metronom üben und dabei eine Geschwindigkeit einstellen, bei der du beispielsweise in der Lage bist, die einzelnen Töne einer Apreggio Sequenz sauber und fehlerfrei zu spielen. Die Genauigkeit ist entscheidend. Wenn du immer versuchst schnell zu spielen und dabei die Genauigkeit außer acht lässt, dann wird sich exakt diese unsaubere Spielweise in dein Muskelgedächnis einprägen und du wirst es umso schwerer haben, dies zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt wieder zu korrigieren.
Speed and accuracy
The most important point in all exercises related to playing techniques on the guitar is “speed and accuracy”. It is enormously important that you remain relaxed and concentrated while practicing. You should definitely practice with a metronome and set a speed at which you are able to play, for example, the individual notes of an apreggio sequence cleanly and without mistakes. Accuracy is crucial. If you always try to play fast and don’t pay attention to accuracy, then exactly this unclean playing style will be imprinted in your muscle memory and you will have an even harder time correcting it at a later time.
“Langsam ist schneller”. Die Geschwindigkeit kommt automatisch mit zunehmender Übung.”

Natürlich solltest du deine Metronom Geschwindigkeit nach einer Weile erhöhen. Aber immer nur soviel, dass deine Übung immer noch genau ist und jeder Ton sauber zu hören ist. Yngwee Malmsteen hat mal in einem Interview gesagt, “Ich habe mich beim üben immer auf mein Gehör verlassen. Erst wenn ich meine Speed Licks sauber und genau wahrgenommen habe, dann war ich zufrieden.
Of course, you should increase your metronome speed after a while. But always just enough so that your practice is still accurate and every note can be heard cleanly. Ausdauer und Beharrlichkeit
Wenn du ein Typ bist der bei den kleinsten Schwierigkeiten in allen Aspekten seines Lebens aufgibt und was neues anfängt, dann gebe ich Dir einen Rat “Versuche erst gar nicht mit dem Gitarrenspielen zu beginnen”. Wenn du wirklich ein außerordentlicher Gitarrist werden willst, dann brauchst du Ausdauer und Beharrlichkeit. Dir wird nichts geschenkt, du musst es Dir erarbeitet und Du wirst manchmal an Dir zweifeln, ob du überhaupt Fortschritte machst. Da musst Du durch. Und noch eins sollte Dir klar sein, du lernst nie aus, selbst wenn du denkst du bist schon verdammt gut, wird es immer noch eine Menge Gitarristen auf der Welt geben, die Dich ganz locker in die Tasche stecken
Perseverance and persistence
If you are a guy who gives up at the slightest difficulty in all aspects of your life and starts something new, then I give you one piece of advice “Don’t even try to start playing guitar”. If you really want to become an extraordinary guitarist, then you need perseverance and persistence. Nothing is given to you, you have to work for it and sometimes you will doubt yourself if you are making any progress at all. You have to get through that. And one more thing should be clear to you, you never stop learning, even if you think you are already damn good, there will still be a lot of guitarists in the world who will easily put you in their pocket.
Solltet ihr hier einen strukturierten Gitarrenkurs erwarten, dann muss ich euch leider enttäuschen. Die Sachen hier entstehen spontan während ich sowieso gerade übe. Wenn sich einiges Material angehäuft hat werde ich es sinnvoller strukturieren.

I think the best way to learn how to play a genre of music is to analyze your favorite songs. At the moment I really enjoy listening to the new Firewind album “Stand United” because I like the arrangements and the excellent musicianship.I also think that Gus G is an outstanding guitarist. I probably won’t reach that level of playing in this lifetime, but the main thing is to enjoy it. Here is a short cover of “Destiny Calling” which I created in a few hours today. Of course without the solo guitar parts by Gus G, because it would take me months to play them even this well. I just wanted to find out if I could hear the parts reasonably well.
